Theera Ullaa Theera Kanaa..!

There are always two kinds of people one focus on tunes and the other on lyrics. Me , being a person who normally focuses more on Tunes , Beats , Instruments etc..To be precise , I’m a person who concentrates more on anything that contributes to music other than lyrics.

I strongly believe that there are very few Songs which are written in a way ,where i don’t tend to focus on the lyrics but the lyrics by themselves gain my attention..! One such song is Theera ulla theera kanna from “Okay kanmani” beautifully penned by Vairamuthu. Not to forget, the lyrics wouldn’t have gained my attention if not for the magic of ARR !

It is surreal to note that the song contains only few words and it is not even considered as a full song in the movie. But it greatly impacts the story plot even as a background music. To me this song is not just about Thara and Adhi and their story , Its much more and it connects to every situation of my life.

I consider it as one of the best songs that matches every mood,emotions,feelings of mine and connects to me during the happiest of my times and the saddest of my days.

“Theera Ulla theera kanaa” the repetitive phrase in the song stirs up different emotions at once where i get reminded of My dreams , My Passion , My past , My Present and My Beautiful memories.

Listening to this song has helped me process a lot of emotions during my difficult times and I owe a lot to ARR for this !
